A shop owner sells a pair of shoes for 39.95 dollars.
The buyer pays the owner with a 100 dollar bill. But the owner does not have exact change so he goes over to the florist and gets change for the 100 dollar bill and comes back to give the buyer exact change. After the buyer leaves the florist comes back and tells the owner that the 100 dollar bill is a counterfeit. The owner, feeling responsible gives the florist 100 dollars from his till.
