Can you start a new plant from the roses you get at the florist?

I would like to start a rose bush from a rose I got at the flower shop how could I do this?

Can you start a new plant from the roses you get at the florist?
yes, cut about six inches at the tip. remove all leaves. soak the lower tip in a root enhancer than trush you forefinger to a pot with garden mix. insert the rose twig to the hole made by finger to a depth of 2 inches. press the coil around the rose twig. water it and cover the whole including the pot with a clear plastic to minimize evaporation. try it
Reply:Sure you can. You a solution which is called by many names but most stores carry then with the name "cloning solution" or some variant of that. You simply soak the cut end of the flower in the cloning solution for a time which is specified on the bottle. You then simply plant the flower. At least 3-4 inches of the step should be buried in the potting soil and with a little luck your flower will start growing.
